We went to 7 acre Woods to pick out our extreemly overpriced pumpkins this year. It was a lot of fun. They have a petting zoo, a huge hay stack to jump in, a zip line and of course Pumpkins.

That smile will just melt you. Ok maybe only in person, but he is darn cute!

Gwynn had to be able to carry her pumpkin in order to buy it. Keeps cost down.

It was a fun family day!

Back to School

Is it possable that I haven't posted since December?????

Well, after being inspired by a few bloger friends I figured it is time to update the grandparents with a few photo's since December.

Above is the first day of school. Alex started Kindergarten and Ethan is in 2nd grade. We are currently in the third week of school. Just long enough for the new to have worn off for Alex. He was so nervous to start, he just about had an anxiety attack the last few weeks of summer. The first day of school he was so emotional. As soon as he had that first day under his belt he was a new guy all together. Sweet Relief!!! Now wish us luck on learning our first sight words.

Ethan is just cruising along in 2nd grade. He is still excited about all of his new homework and reading. I think he is happier that I have stopped making him journal every day this summer. Last night he got to make all of his spelling words out of play dough. I really don't remember doing anything that fun in school. Gwynn got in on the action and by dinner time my kitchen table was a total wreck with playdough.

Gwynn started Preschool last week. Like any typical 3rd child, I forgot my camera. I think I was so excited to have a few hours to myself after a super long summer. Maybe my focus wasn't all on Gwynn. sorry. I promise to take the camera tomorrow and get a few shots of Gwynn in her natural environment.

Can it really be February already???

I just can't believe how time has flown lately!!!

I haven't updated this blog in ages. So here you go Dad, and Michelle here are a few somewhat recient photo's of the kids. It starts with Ethan who lost his second tooth. Actually I went to school and pulled it out for him. The nurse at school will give the kids a treasure box to put the tooth in and adds them to a chart outside her office. That tooth was just hanging on by a thread and driving us nuts, so I had to do it, an it just had to be at school. I know that I am old, but I do remember what it was like to be a first grader.

Here is Ethan kicking butt in his Tae Kwon Do class. If you can beleive it, we have be going for a year and a half and Ethan is a green belt. He still loves it. They just started a sparing class so for his birthday we got him the sparing gear. A foam helmet along with gloves and boots so he can beat on his best friend Chase.

We spent Christmas this year at my Grandparents house in Hemet California. Doesn't Gwynn look thrilled to get a had and scarf. I bet she is thinking. " I live in Texas, what do I need this junk for???"
